The Human Evolution Story —

For many years scientists have developed the theory that humans have gone through stages of a transformative process called evolution. Evolution is the process from which humans evolved from early primates. In zoological terms, humans are known as Homo Sapiens which is a species that walks upright and lives on land. Humans are still existing members of the Hominina clan which includes chimpanzees, orangutans and gorillas. The process of evolution can be complicated to comprehend because there i

A Breeze Through The Windy City —

My next and final stop landed me at the Millennium Park where Cloud Gate resides, known to many tourists as, “The Silver Bean” is an art piece designed by Anish Kapoor. The construction of this art piece took place from 2004 to 2006. It is made of stainless steel plates welded together. The inspiration behind Kapoor’s art is liquid mercury and one unique feature about this piece is that it reflects Chicago’s skyline. This art piece certainly has gained the attention of many from around the world

I would be lying if I said I expected your arrival. I didn’t plan on being a young mom and I don’t think anybody does. I had my life planned out in my head and I thought I had everything I needed but God knew what I needed and he knew I needed you. I’ll never understand why these things happen. I’ll never understand the word “fate” or the phrase “everything happens for a reason.” Sometimes things happen unexpectedly when you least expect them. You are going to learn someday that you need to adju

The most magical and coldest time of the year is just around the corner and spending it in the East Coast can be exciting for two California-born natives. The streets of New York is every New Yorker’s runway during the winter. Signature furs and long coats kept us warm at night and baggy streetwear outfits stood us out in the daylight streets. While on a trip to the East Coast, my friend Kaelynn and I took on the challenge of blending in with our new surroundings. I had a classy winter chic look

The Ultimate San Francisco Food Guide for Foodies —

The first stop on my food tour was a Filipino owned restaurant called The Craw Station located on 1336 9th Ave. This restaurant gave Filipino food a new look with its Cajun-Creole twist. The decor inside has a rustic feel with wooden chairs and tables and brick walls. They have the dim lighting inside and it is very comfortable and relaxing to sit and enjoy a comforting meal. They have an outdoor back patio which can be beautiful to sit at and enjoy a meal while watching the sunset in the city.

My plane landed at 4:50 p.m. at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. The skies above were gray and I could hear the pounds and crashes of lightning as cold w
